Anything is possible! This is the mission statement of the multi-genre sextet, and it is embedded in the heart of every song they write. From their humble beginnings as an open mic house cover band, Audiodacity has grown into a dynamic and musically-diverse ensemble with dozens of original songs, each imbued with the spirit of their camaraderie. Every member has varying levels of musical backgrounds, preferences, and influences; but these differences seamlessly combine into a sound that is truly original. Funk, rock, hip-hop, latin, jazz, reggae, R&B, blues and even dubstep – no genre is left unexplored.
Audiodacity’s unique style and their reputation for delivering unforgettable live performances have earned them a spot among Indiana’s top bands. They have won several city-wide and state-wide battle of the bands competitions, performed all throughout the Midwest, and have even shared the stage with nationally touring acts such as Ludacris, GROUPLOVE, and Here Come The Mummies.
With their latest release, APOCALYPSE WHENEVER, Boston’s beloved reggae-rock funkateers Spiritual Rez deliver their most triumphant musical offering yet. Produced by lead singer Toft Willingham, co-produced by bassist Jesse Shaternick, and mastered by legendary engineer Howie Weinberg (Ramones, Beastie Boys, Prince, Red Hot Chili Peppers), the 14-track collection of infectious anthems is chock-full of rollicking guitar riffs, ocean-bathed melodies, swagger-centric basslines, crisp soaring horns, and ska-infused jam sections that have come to define Rez’s progressive signature sound. While their groove is primarily rooted in rock, reggae, and funk traditions, the septet draws stylistic influence from nearly every musical movement of the 20th century. Over the past 9 years, Rez has tirelessly toured the country ten times over, cemented their status as a consistent festival favorite, and honed their exhilarating live show into an incomparable, unabashed musical extravaganza. They have shared the stage with artistic visionaries including Toots and the Maytals, Rubblebucket, Gogol Bordello, the Dirty Heads, George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic, Jimmy Buffett, and Bernie Worrell. Evoking their personal power animals, they fearlessly forge into a bold new chapter of their epic musical journey and prepare to hit the road for a nationwide tour once more….

The band which would eventually become Merkwood was formed in the fall of 2013 by musicians and IU students Matt Urban, Max Pretzer, and Karter Harmon. The band performed under the name Shotgun Genome (a.k.a. Shotty G) and quickly garnered attention playing high-energy improvisational rock music. Despite originating as a jam band with a rotating lineup, the core trio has remained constant throughout the group’s existence. With the addition of local jazz virtuoso Tommy B. on the keys, the group renamed themselves Merkwood and have gone on to develop a unique brand of addictive jamtronica.
Merkwood’s repertoire includes high-energy dance jams, live improvisation, catchy hooks and carefully-selected covers. They self-produced and released two albums in 2015, which are available for free at merkwood.bandcamp.com!
