Dioxin One

Playing drums by the age of 8, Clayton Hicks aka “Dioxin One” was primed and ready to fire off a batteries of rhythm later as a young adult. Already producing his own tracks on FL Studio by the age of 15, Dioxin has continued to hone his talents and sculpt his vision of beats and bass. He was given the name “Diox” to tag by a fellow street artist, thus birthing “DJ Dioxin.” In late 2009 Dioxin’s first exposure to the sub-genre of “Dubstep” left an indelible impression and has thus influenced much of his output today. “I heard the wobble synth and in my head I went… ‘I gotta learn how to make this.”
