Christian the DJ
Christian cut his teeth on the dance floors of the midwest rave scene of the late 90’s.
With his diverse music palate, he’s had the opportunity to open for Frankie Bones, Mark Farina, GRiZ, G Jones, Manic Focus, and the Floozies.
You don’t merely witness Christian — you experience him. Watching Christian perform is a lesson in technical DJ proficiency, a proficiency that has grabbed the attention and respect of the local Indianapolis Bass scene.
To him, tracks aren’t just songs. They are scenes to a film, chapters to a novel. And it’s the narrative approach to his dancefloor assault that reveals his true level of expertise.
Rob is originally from Lancaster, PA and began his passion for music at an early age. Originally playing classical violin, Rob soon pursued other passions in the music world. His influences include trent resnor, pink floyd, and dieselboy. he began his DJing about 10 years ago and has steadily learned the ins-and-outs. He currently resides in Indianapolis playing several shows a week at Indy’s Moustrap and Doc’s Music Hall in Muncie. He is signed on the G9 Collective as of August 2012 and Cosmic Promotions since May 2012.
EPROM is one of the west coast scene’s most sonically interesting and provactive producers. His beats jiggle, drip and contort wildly in a perpetual state of melting, churning, and mutation. Stretched time and firey melodies meet in a space where dubstep and grime collide. His live sets are something to behold as well, emphasizing the hip-hop roots that lurk underneath his twisted beats.
Fans of Eprom include Aphex Twin, Flying Lotus, ?uestlove, DJ Shadow, Rustie, The Gaslamp Killer, The Glitch Mob and the producer has shared the stage with many of the international electronic music community’s hottest artists. With his new album, Samurai, garnering critical acclaim from all corners, Eprom is has established himself as an integral part of the booming bass scene of the west coast.
