What is The Truth Hz?

The Truth Hz is a live DJ performance + feedback experience hosted by Slo and highfives.

Each episode, we draw names from a bowl.

Each performer gets 15 minutes to prove themselves.

Then… the judging begins.

This isn’t about clout or followers.

This is about what you played, how you performed, and why it mattered.

Raw, unfiltered, and brutally helpful.

*Sign up between 8:00PM–10:00PM at the booth.

*The Truth Hz: 10:00pm – 12:00AM

*12:00AM-2:00AM Best performers of night play again

*Names will be drawn randomly for performance slots.

* If your name is called, you’ll get 15 minutes to spin.

*After your set, you’ll get live feedback from the hosts, guest judges, and even the crowd.

*The audience can write on “Micro Aggression” cards, named after DJ Micromachine, that will be read aloud. They’re anonymous. They’re spicy, they’re honest, so be ready.

Bring a USB, bring your controller, bring your A-game. Bring thick skin.

Whether you’re a fan, fellow producer, or just curious, this is a front-row seat to the creative process.

This is all about being open and honest with everyone and helping us grow as a community.

Hyryder is is back for a 2 night run outside in the lot this June 19th and 20th w/ some special guest sit-ins… ALL weekend!

Hyryder rolls back In June 19th and 20th! They’ll hit our outdoor stage as a 4-piece with killer sit ins and special guests! In true Grateful Dead style, fresh jams and epic vibes await during during another epic 2 night run. Make sure to get out to each night to see what special surprises await.

About

Hyryder is a Grateful Dead Tribute Band formed in Indianapolis, Indiana in the summer of 2008 and currently consists of Charlie Morgan (lead guitar and vocals), Nick Neureiter (drums and vocals), Eric Thompson (rhythm guitar and vocals), Scott Jackson (keyboard world and vocals) and Blair Ping (bass and vocals). The band was born out of an intense love and appreciation for the music of the Grateful Dead and a desire to help carry on this rich musical tradition.

Hyryder strives musically to create an authentic Grateful Dead experience, paying close attention to detail. While paying tribute to the original compositions, Hyryder indeed craft’s their own unique take on the music focusing on extended improvisational jamming. The band prides itself on its ever changing progressive jams and set lists that are unique to each particular show. Hyryder performs multiple night runs without ever repeating any material giving fans an intimately different experience each time they take the stage.

1 x Pioneer DJM 900NXS2
– If you require ANY other gear to perform, you need to bring it
– This includes RCA’s or any connecting cables to tap into our mixer
– DJ boards are ok, just let us know your weapons of choice when you sign up.

This Friday, July 3rd, prepare for some musical fireworks as Indy Gorgeous Club join forces with Bloomington’s own Coda Canyon for a night guaranteed to light up The Mousetrap louder than your neighbor’s questionable mortar collection.

Coda Canyon — who placed 2nd in our first-ever Mousetrap Battle of the Bands among 50 entries — kicks off the evening with their explosive blend of jazz-rock, funk-rock and progressive grooves. Afterwards, Indy Gorgeous Club is closing out the night out proper with their signature mix of inspired originals and deep-cut covers spanning legends like Phish, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Stevie Wonder, Vulfpeck, and beyond!

Come celebrate Independence Day weekend with soaring jams, funky grooves and enough energy to rival a grand finale fireworks show!
