Something entirely new has entered Earth’s atmosphere in 2017. The producer/DJ Lucii has landed and brought out of this world bass to our globe. Whether you’re a human, a humanoid or all-together an alien, her busty beats will get you on your feet and dancing.

Otherwise known as Emily Rose, Lucii is an otherworldly creator of a unique genera called Space Bass. She has already brought her intergalactic sound to this world through festival sets at Warped Horizon, Pass The Good and Asteria Music Festival.

Lucii has come in peace. Her signature style has already seen her accepted and loved by the likes of Liquid Stanger, Conrank, The Widdler, Clozee and many more. She landed in 2017, but her music is here to stay until the Earth is no more, where it then will return to the cosmos

Following several years of lateral experimentation in sound design, South African producer CHEE’s unique hybrid sound erupted into the international domain in 2016 with the release of his Shrodinger EP on Dutch label Underslung and several self-releases. His sonic innovation quickly caught the attention of prime heads in electronica, with tracks featured on leading Youtube portals such as Inspector Dubplate and with Noisia featuring Chee and side project IT HZ tracks on their radio show. With growing hype around his fresh approach and uncompromising bass experimentation with a heavy dancefloor edge, labels started to take a deeper interest.

Doorways opened across labels from a variety of genres, with drum & bass focused TYPE91, CLOSE2DEATH and ALGORITHM releasing his fierce take on the sound, whilst rapidly rising bass labels UPSCALE and RENRAKU delivered his raw trap and futurebeat // halfstep influenced material in its full devastating glory. His assured arc of fresh ideas took a firm step in 2017, with the release of his first full-length album FEAR MONGER on SATURATE RECORDS with 12 tracks of pure Chee sound that unfurled a mutant leviathan of bass and demonstrated utterly the potential of one of the most promising names in low-end heavy electronica.

Taking influences liberally from his surroundings and combining them into a complex pastiche of audio that has its origins in visual inspirations of visceral art and various theories incubated in the dynamic folds of the internet, as well as in the music that he wraps himself in from the likes of Noisia, Moody Good, Amon Tobin, Skrillex, Ivy Lab and Tsuruda – creators who are pushing at the very fringes of sonic possibility. Chee’s sound has the potential to develop into a genre in its own right – evading being pigeon-holed and classified due to his unrelenting urge to experiment and explore fresh and ill sounds. With an array of high profile releases lined up for 2017, and international touring commencing – the scene is set for this young and gifted artist to flourish.

Indianapolis, Indiana’s MUDKIDS have been a major part of the independent hip-hop scene in the Midwest for over a decade. MUDKIDS have released four albums, independently and are currently in the studio finishing their fifth, ‘We Are Dynamic And People Like Us’. Elp-Mass and Rusty met years ago at a local hip-hop night in a reggae club, that ended up becoming a jazz club (while Rusty was in a rock band and Elp-Mass was a student at Indiana University) and they have been partners ever since. MUDKIDS are jazz cats that rock; they have never catered to trends and whims, they are determined to refine and perfect their craft and have maintained a consistency most hip-hop bands would envy. This is a band that hits the stage two men strong and plays like there are twenty. The live show is a celebration, a joyous affair.

Finally ready to step into a bigger world, the ‘KIDS have returned better than ever with ‘We Are Dynamic And People Like Us’. The new material from ‘We Are Dynamic…’ is getting great feedback. Lead single, ‘Love’ will have you singing the chorus by the second time it comes around in the song, while Rusty expounds on the many qualities and quirks of the ‘L’ word. The MUDKIDS have expanded their sound in the last few years, with Rusty bringing a new sense of Soul and Elp-Mass providing a whole new range of emotion, sound, and tempo. ‘Swim’ from ‘We Are Dynamic…’ is a great example of that. It is also a great example of how the band’s sound has grown with each release. Everyone who hears ‘Swim’ for the first time asks ‘Who is that?’, even though they have been watching the band for years. It is truly an ‘original’ in every sense of the word.

DJ Helicon joining the group in ’05 solidified what was already being recognized as one of the better live hip-hop shows in the Midwest. The interplay and chemistry between Rusty and Helicon became an undeniably, charismatic and energetic show. MUDKIDS decided to part ways with Helicon and strip back down to the original MUDKIDS duo that started it all. The MUDKIDS are Dynamic and People Like Them. Watch for them in your city.

With his diverse music palate, he’s had the opportunity to open for Frankie Bones, Mark Farina, GRiZ, G Jones, Manic Focus, and the Floozies.

You don’t merely witness Christian — you experience him. Watching Christian perform is a lesson in technical DJ proficiency, a proficiency that has grabbed the attention and respect of the local Indianapolis Bass scene.

To him, tracks aren’t just songs. They are scenes to a film, chapters to a novel. And it’s the narrative approach to his dancefloor assault that reveals his true level of expertise.

He performs solo as a “One Man Jam Band” by using an audio sampler to record (Live) loop tracks on his guitar, bass, hand percussion, and vocals to make the sound of a full band.

This “One Man Jam Band” has performed official after parties for acts like Robert Randolf, Victor Wooten, and The Wailers. He has opened up for acts like Gov’t Mule, Eoto, Ekoostik Hookah, Future Rock, and Zach Deputy. He has performed along side acts such as Michael Franti, Keller Williams, The Dark Star Orchestra, Arrested Development, and has performed at festivals including Hyperion(IN)x3, MojoStock(IN), Wuhnurth(IN), Terrapin Hill Harvest Fest(KY), Snuggleween(KY)x2, Hoodilidoo(MI)x2, Resonance(OH)(x2), Tribal Connection(OH)x2, Hoopla In The Hills(OH)x3, Hookahville(OH)x7, multiple different performance art fests(Kinetic Fire(OH)x3, Flow Motion(IN), Flow Down(IN-IL)x2, So. Ill. Flow(IL), and at Good People Good Times Music Festival of which Derick puts on and has headlined along with acts like Turbo Suit, The Main Squeeze, Ekoostik Hookah, Rumpke Mountain Boys, and UV Hippo.

Derick has performed at all types of events and venues besides festivals and official after parties. From The Hard Rock Cafe’s in Chicago and Louisville to restaurants like Apple Bee’s, Texas Roadhouse, Max & Erma’s, and over a dozen locations of the Jimmy Buffet chain Cheeseburger In Paradise. As well as many private events and public events for universities like I.U. and Ball State. Derick has also performed many benefits such as The Relay For Life, The MS Walk, Rock For Riley, and community fundraisers.

Although he performs mainly around the Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky area, he has performed as far east as Maryland, as far south as Miami, FL., and as far west as California.

Over the last decade, Jin-XS has become a recognizable face in the Indianapolis DJ scene, across a broad spectrum of genres.

Born in Uqbar, later moving to Broad Ripple in Indianapolis at the age of 3, Jin-XS spent much of his youth and teens in the rave, industrial, and hip hop undergrounds, but his work as a DJ began 1999 in Denver, when a cousin taught him the ins and outs of using DJ equipment. Around this time he also began teaching himself a variety of music software. By 2003, he had begun his work with instrumental production and mastering the art of DJing itself, and continues to the present, spinning an eclectic mix of genres in some of Indianapolis’ biggest music venues. In 2009 he opened for “End:The DJ,” the #1 Industrial DJ in the world, at Gencon. He has been a show DJ with top acts such as My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, The Ready Set, Naughty By Nature, and InnerPartySystem, and appeared in BET’s tour commercial for Murphy Lee. Currently is a part of the G9 Collective, IndyMojo’s DJ crew.

Otto Von Schirach (half Cuban / half German) was born in 1978 in the swamp infested refugee world of Little Havana Miami. As a child his grandmother practiced Santeria and White Magic, which opened his eyes to the strange and bizarre. Otto grew up listening to Miami Bass, Gore Grind, Gangsta Rap and Afro Cuban Noise. In 1995 Otto bought his first drum machine from a crack-head just 2 blocks from his mom’s house. Right away he recognized his passion for grimy diamond soaked kick drums through distorted fuzz muck. The rest is history.
