Over the last decade, Jin-XS has become a recognizable face in the Indianapolis DJ scene, across a broad spectrum of genres.

Born in Uqbar, later moving to Broad Ripple in Indianapolis at the age of 3, Jin-XS spent much of his youth and teens in the rave, industrial, and hip hop undergrounds, but his work as a DJ began 1999 in Denver, when a cousin taught him the ins and outs of using DJ equipment. Around this time he also began teaching himself a variety of music software. By 2003, he had begun his work with instrumental production and mastering the art of DJing itself, and continues to the present, spinning an eclectic mix of genres in some of Indianapolis’ biggest music venues. In 2009 he opened for “End:The DJ,” the #1 Industrial DJ in the world, at Gencon. He has been a show DJ with top acts such as My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, The Ready Set, Naughty By Nature, and InnerPartySystem, and appeared in BET’s tour commercial for Murphy Lee. Currently is a part of the G9 Collective, IndyMojo’s DJ crew.

DJ since 2008. I spin damn near anything and enjoy doing so immensely. Music is more than a hobby, even more than a passion… it is a full-blown obsession.

I started out spinning goth and industrial and quickly found myself branching out into more and more EDM and other assorted music. Electro house, top 40, dubstep, hip hop, drum & bass / jungle, 80’s, and more. I have a wide appreciation for all kinds of music outside these areas as well and it seems to grow every day.

I have played at numerous clubs / bars, festivals, house parties, raves, and even do the odd wedding reception or birthday party. I just enjoy being a part of DJ culture and take every opportunity to expand my skills and increase my audience.

Ejion is Matas Olsauskas who is a Producer/DJ hailing from Chicago Illinois. Matas has been involved with music for most of his life from school band to The Chicago Youth Concert Orchestra. Once Matas realized that music was going to play a major role in his life he decided to attend Ball State University to pursue a major in Music Technology.

Matas started to grow interest in the recording and production of music with the help of his brother Vinny Olsauskas (CEO of Real Metal Reviews). They recorded their first EP with their band Teratological Nightmare and ever since then Matas has been fascinated with recording and the technology behind all of it.

As for the electronic music production Matas has always been fascinated with electronic music and wanted to know more about the culture and production of it. As he delved into the topic more and more he realized that electronic music might be another interesting hobby and just like that Ejion was Born. Matas’s first alias for this project was SONORITY which later turned into Ejion. From the very first song he produced to the songs that are in progress now Matas has shown his love for music and hopes to deliver the same emotions to anyone who listens to Ejion.
