About

The jFET Project began in early 2011 by Producer / DJ “Jangatha.” After over 50 house music releases on some of the most respected labels in both digital and vinyl format, the need to seek fresh sounds was instilled and inspired by the edgy bass music arena. The focus is rather simple, to push fresh hype sounds in any BPM it fits best. jFET’s sounds have been catching on quick. His debut EP reached #15 on the Beatport Dubstep Release charts, and caught the attention of several respected blogs including The Untz. 2012 included a release from Play Me Records as part of the New Blood of Dubstep. With support from international touring acts such as Figure, Ajapai, and Reid Speed, we will likely be hearing much more to come from this eclectic project. jFET: Intergalactic Hitman / Producer / Performer.
Past performances include: Infected Mushroom, Datsik, Zomboy, 12th Planet, Downlink, Delta Heavy, Skism, Terravita, Cookie Monsta, Bare Noize, Mt. Eden, Crizzly, Butch Clancy, Mayhem, High Rankin, Eptic, Ajapai, Cyberoptics, J. Rabbit, Vaski, Mark Instinct, Reid Speed, Sluggo, AFK, Antiserum, Archnemesis, Singularity, & Ill-esha.

About

SHY GUY SAYS is an electronic music producer and performer straight from the Mushroom Kingdom, an 8bit villain ready to destroy any party at any time and somehow leave his victims wanting more. His eclectic, yet upbeat and danceable sound can best be described as a mixture of Hip Hop, Glitch Hop, Dubstep, Trap, and Drum N Bass.
It’s know for its heavy rhythmic swagger, yet at the same time can be lush and loaded with dirty synth bass sounds, warm ambiance, and 8-bit glitches.

About

“Hit The Decks” TV is a music video program on IMC, Fridays at midnight and Saturday at 10pm.
“Hit The Decks” radio is a show formerly broadcast on WRZX (X103) in Indianapolis and currently seeking a new home. From house to hip hop, electro to drum and bass, and everything in between, we’re an equal opportunity offender. We are posting our play list each week on our web site, so be sure to check it out in case you heard something you liked. The show’s podcast is available at http://feeds.feedburner.com/HitTheDecksPodcast and is updated on Monday evenings.
As for me… Where to begin…
Rudy Kizer has been a vocal advocate of electronic music, its artists and culture for over 20 years. Coming of age in the Chicago area, he was inspired by the legendary “Hot Mix 5” radio mixers and started spinning records in his bedroom. While at Purdue University, Rudy got his own turn on the air at WCCR, learning the ropes of format radio programming. An engineering student, his interests soon progressed from DJ to producer. After graduating, he started a multimedia production company and recording studio during the late ’90s Internet boom where he produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered a wide array of bands, vocalists, and electronic music projects.
From 2000-2006, he was a contributor and the primary producer for WRZX’s “Planet X” radio program (hosted by Jonathan Keith). He assisted in hosting Planet X’s “SPACE” events at Eden nightclub, bringing some of the hottest national and international DJ talent to perform in Indianapolis for the first time. Rudy has opened for Paul Van Dyk, The Crystal Method, DJ Dan, Bad Boy Bill, DJ Icey, and many others. His seasoned ear for good music and years of eclectic programming experience guides his floor-moving mix of electro-house, breaks, dubstep, and drum-and-bass. Beginning in the spring of 2007, Rudy became the host and producer of “Hit The Decks,” an alternative dance program, airing Sundays from 10pm to midnight on WRZX until June 2012.
