Acknowledging that each of us has a priceless gift that we must connect to and share with the world, Bashiri has been cultivating a relationship with his voice since childhood. From shoo-wop style singing groups and classical vocal training, to performances local and abroad, his vocal prowess has been growing into the soul-stirring entity it is known as today. The influences of Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Sam Cooke, and Otis Redding echo in his performance, and those coupled with his own strength and passion have come together to create his version of true soul music, termed “IndySoul.” Seeking to join the ranks of other independent artists looking to breathe new life into the soul music scene, Bashiri has begun to make a name for himself, not just around the region, but around the world. Humble in his approach, relentless in his delivery, you have to experience it to truly understand.

About
Among the Compromised first arrived on the scene advancing to the final round of the Birdy’s Battle of the Bands 2015. They released their first full-length self-titled album in Spring 2016 and were acclaimed by Indy’s NUVO magazine. They have played avenues such as the Hi-Fi. the Indy Pride Festival, and the Hog Daze Motorcycle Rally.
ATC released their single and music video “Elevated” in Summer 2017, and attendees to the filming had such a memorable experience, the “Ele-Fest: Elevated Music & Artisan Festival” was founded by the band the following year. The second annual Ele-Fest will be held at Hidden Paradise Campground in St.Paul, IN in late July.
Following the release of “Elevated”, ATC begin their sophomore project ”Down”. Due to release May 3, 2019, this album boasts songs featuring several local talented musicians. The album release performance will include artists who recorded with ATC, as well as other guests.
Hailing from Indiana, Among The Compromised is a Rock band infused with 90s Grunge, Soul, and Pop. Originally comprised as a duo of AJ Noblitt and Jared Wooten, ATC soon pulled in the vocal talents of Eleadah “E” Kemp and Jay Patton on bass.
