On Saturday March 15th, the incredible Flamingosis makes his way to The Mousetrap for a night of soul, funk and deep cuts with support from an incredible cast of selectors including Sweater Disco, Kyle Long & Eric Salazar!
Flamingosis splices together old school soul, wild funk, and D.I.Y. Electronic with a radiant message meant for any moment. Since 2012, he has carved out a niche of his own and collaborated in the studio and on stage with artists such as Big Gigantic, Griz, Madeon, Tokimonsta, Matoma and more. In 2016 Pitchfork described his track “Believe In Me” as a new summer anthem. In 2019 he hit the studio with all-star cast of musicians, including keyboardist Borahm Lee , Jeff Franca , Eddie Roberts , Hunter Roberts, hip-hop duo Recess, Mike Tallman of Euforquestra and more to create the compelling album, “Daymaker”. This exciting album included the standout track “Wild Summer” which features Brazilian bounce, tropical house and intoxicatingly warm grooves.
After generating over 100 million streams, attracting 100,000 + fans and receiving acclaim from Pitchfork, MTV, Thissongissick, and many more, the New Jersey-raised and Brooklyn-based producer is highly respected by DJ’s and producers afar having made appearances at notable festivals including Austin City Limits, Electric Forest, Okeechobee, Holy Ship! and Voodoo Music + arts.
