About
Landon founded the band in 2019 after recently discovering his love for bluegrass/string music from a local festival. With no former musical experience, he was inspired to pick up the mandolin so he could jam with the community. This led to the creation of the band and in 2020, he and Quinton moved into the Steven House in Louisville, Kentucky. The location was ran as a venue by the former owner and Landon decided to continue this and host shows and music there. This is where the band settled into its members and connected to the music and community of the surrounding area. Steven House hosted dozens of shows while they lived there which included everything from local smaller acts to bigger touring acts. Nectar Valley released their debut album during this time as well. While they moved out of Steven House in 2022, Landon still resides in Louisville, Kentucky and his passion for the local musical community has never been stronger. Now, Landon helps manage Nectar Valley’s very own music festival called WillyStock. He looks forward to the 1st one coming up in 2024. His inspirations are Jeff Austin of Yonder Mountain String Band, Restless Leg String Band, and Billy Strings.

Hailing from Chesterton, IN, the Watershed Ramblers are a progressive-bluegrass quartet drawn from a diverse group of influences. From bluegrass to rock to funk/RnB, the Ramblers are an acoustic outfit that will take you on a ride from traditional to contemporary using their songwriting and wide range of genre-bending pickin! Known for fast paced tempos and train-like grooves, the Ramblers bring the energy with their own style of the music that everyone knows and loves.
