Christian the DJ
Listen
About

Christian cut his teeth on the dance floors of the midwest rave scene of the late 90’s.
With his diverse music palate, he’s had the opportunity to open for Frankie Bones, Mark Farina, GRiZ, G Jones, Manic Focus, and the Floozies.
You don’t merely witness Christian — you experience him. Watching Christian perform is a lesson in technical DJ proficiency, a proficiency that has grabbed the attention and respect of the local Indianapolis Bass scene.
To him, tracks aren’t just songs. They are scenes to a film, chapters to a novel. And it’s the narrative approach to his dancefloor assault that reveals his true level of expertise.
Antik One
Listen
About

Antik One was first introduced to the world of electronic music in the remote desert of Tucson, AZ in the late 90s. The ground shook with the bass, drawing him in and embedding in his soul like a nasty piece of jumping cactus. Flashing lights and the heavens above danced with him as found his second family in the rave community. Inspired by chance encounters with DJs Radar and Z-Tip during his first party that just happened to be a Moon Tribe event, Antik One set about to shape the sounds that would continue to breath life into the rave community like a mother’s womb. West Coast Drum & Bass, breaks, acid house and goa-trance would provide the soundtrack to the rest of his time in AZ. Once transplanted to Indiana, Antik found support from fellow deck warriors Seth & Mac at Evolving Records. Like many aspiring musician, Antik spent years honing his craft and developing his skills before his sound was ready for the masses. Starting in 2012 he began playing small shows around Indianapolis at The Melody Inn and The Emerson Theater. While Drum & Bass is Antik One’s passion, he has been exploring a wider variety of chilled out, flow-friendly tunes including electro-swing and the bouncier sounds of tech house and breaks. The results are mood altering, expanding ,and complimenting. The only thing they won’t do is fail to move your feet.

Manic Focus
Listen
About

Manic Focus is the beat-bumpin’ project of John “JmaC” McCarten, a Chicago-based electronic music producer hailing from the Twin Cities. A multi-dimensional artist with a rowdy style unbound to any one genre, Manic Focus transcends sound waves by fusing soulful blues with heavy-hitting bass, creating a resonating tone that’s entirely his own.
Manic Focus’ grooves run deep in a diverse array of musical influence, rooted in early classical piano training and a ruthless cultivation of hypnotic, hip-hop infused electro-soul bangers. His sound first emerged on the scene in 2011 with the independent release of Definition of the Rhythm, followed by Expanding Mind in 2012 and Distant Perspective in 2013, all of which he distributed to the masses online, free of charge. Since then, he’s toured extensively with Big Gigantic, GRiZ, Paper Diamond, Minnesota, Break Science and many more.
His fourth album, Cerebral Eclipse, debuted on GRiZ’s label All Good Records in October of 2014. It features Dominic Lalli (Big Gigantic), GRiZ, Michal Menert (Pretty Lights Music, Super Best Records) and many more, incorporating more live instrumentation than ever before. He also started two side projects with Pretty Lights Music veterans Break Science (Manic Science) and Michal Menert (Manic Menert).
As an artist, JmaC continues to build momentum and perfect his craft with every show. Always seeking new ways to experiment with multiple genres and future-bass concoctions, you can bet this beat magician will bring the heat to any performance.
Whether it’s a small-town venue or a world-renowned music festival, you won’t want to miss a Manic Focus throw-down.
