Jet Edison, the Boulder, CO quartet, is anything but your traditional rock band. With their distinct blend of genre-defying music, they bring together individual influences from across the musical spectrum, creating original songs with strong technical musicianship and thought provoking lyrics.
Word of Jet Edison’s captivating performances has been spreading rapidly, and gaining them recognition all across their home state and beyond. Upon returning from a successful tour in the Midwest this past April, JE was nominated for Best “Rock – Jam/Improv” Band in Colorado by the Denver news publication Westword. It is their combination of intriguing original compositions, talent, and raw energy that have been making audiences dance all night and talk all day. One such performance was their late-night show after the Colorado festival NedFest in 2010, where Jet Edison played a five-hour set, joined in part by Eric Yates (Hot Buttered Rum), until 5:00am to a packed crowd!
Jet Edison has also been billed with such national acts as Cornmeal, Lubriphonic, and Strange Design and has performed and played with members of Colorado’s most established bands, a few being Vince Herman (Leftover Salmon), The Phix, Euforquestra, Mountain Standard Time, WhiteWater Ramble and Elephant Revival.
