As a vanguard of forward thinking bass music, Antiserum continuously defines the sound of today. His releases on OWSLA, SMOG, Firepower, and Never Say Die Records have established him as a mainstay of sub-heavy music, and the success of his track “Brick Squad Anthem,” with Atlanta-based producer Mayhem, has solidified him as an authority in hip-hop inspired electronic music.
The response to Antiserum’s music from the DJ community speaks for itself. His releases in the last couple years, "Wild", "Hustle", “Trippy,” “Bangladesh, and “Pakistan” have collectively received support from Skrillex, 12th Planet, Diplo, Bassnectar, Baauer, Flosstradamus, Bro Safari, Datsik, UZ, and Heroes x Villains. His collaboration with 12th Planet, “Bass Salt” on SMOG Records, was featured on Rolling Stone and his remix for Skism’s track “Like This” Feat. Virus Syndicate was featured on UKF.
Antiserums BBC Radio 1xtra mix is a brief glance into the dynamic nature of his performance. During 2013 he brought this performance across the US and joined Datsik’s Most Wanted Tour in October and November. Over the last decade, Jin-XS has become a recognizable face in the Indianapolis DJ scene, across a broad spectrum of genres.
Born in Uqbar, later moving to Broad Ripple in Indianapolis at the age of 3, Jin-XS spent much of his youth and teens in the rave, industrial, and hip hop undergrounds, but his work as a DJ began 1999 in Denver, when a cousin taught him the ins and outs of using DJ equipment. Around this time he also began teaching himself a variety of music software. By 2003, he had begun his work with instrumental production and mastering the art of DJing itself, and continues to the present, spinning an eclectic mix of genres in some of Indianapolis' biggest music venues. In 2009 he opened for "End:The DJ," the #1 Industrial DJ in the world, at Gencon. He has been a show DJ with top acts such as My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, The Ready Set, Naughty By Nature, and InnerPartySystem, and appeared in BET's tour commercial for Murphy Lee. Currently is a part of the G9 Collective, IndyMojo's DJ crew.
DJ since 2008. I spin damn near anything and enjoy doing so immensely. Music is more than a hobby, it is a full-blown obsession.
I started out spinning goth and industrial and quickly found myself branching out into more and more EDM and other assorted music. Electro house, top 40, dubstep, hip hop, drum & bass / jungle, 80's, and more. I have a wide appreciation for all kinds of music outside these areas as well and it seems to grow every day.
I have played at numerous clubs / bars, festivals, house parties, raves, and even do the odd wedding reception or birthday party. I just enjoy being a part of DJ culture and take every opportunity to expand my skills and increase my audience.
I am a part of several groups of talented individuals. Most recently I have been added as an admin at facebook.com/DJ.Mixes.Now and am starting to do interviews for their website at djmixesnow.com
I am a performer with Infinite Vibes Entertainment at facebook.com/InfiniteVibes, PimpinAzzBeatz at facebook.com/Nefarious.N8, and have been added as an artist and moderator at the newly founded Draynohed Productions at facebook.com/Dhprecords. I'm also the official DJ for a fantastic burlesque troupe called Creme de les Femmes. facebook.com/cremedelesfemmes
Any questions for me about booking or anything at all, feel free to contact me at facebook.com/themicromachine or email me directly at [email protected] Thanks for your support!
UltIma wePWN, a simple guy from Indianapolis, IN who started DJing in his grandmother's "office" (closet), started playing house shows, and now enjoys playing good music for good people anywhere he can. His "WePWN" of choice being a Pioneer DDJ-S1 and a huge pile of random janky electronics and machinery he still always plays the perfect thing to get you moving!
